Second DARTER Training School

“Communicating Research to Stakeholders”

4th to April 8th 2022 (online)

We are pleased to inform you that we are currently organizing the Second DARTER Online Training School “Communicating Research to Stakeholders”.

Encouraged by the huge success of last year’s Training School, and by a significant number of requests to launch a second edition, we are again gathering efforts to bring you a challenging program, which will addresses a basic need of virtually every researcher nowadays: the need to communicate his or hers research to different publics.

Truth is, communicating Science, our full-of-data, and full-of-molecules Science can be as hard as walking a tightrope. But there are ways in which we may train you so that you can do it in a more effective way to reach your goals, regardless of whether you want something so serious as to convince funding bodies to finance your research, or so naïf as explaining your grandmother what are you actually doing in the lab.

Whatever your goal, you will surely find a way to reach it during this Training School, as you will have the opportunity to explore a number of communication strategies, which will be brought to you by experts in SciComm.

Our local organizers, Michela A. Denti (University of Trento, Italy), Elisa Giorgio (University of Pavia, Italy) and Milena Bigatto (HIT Hub Innovation Trentino, Trento, Italy), are working to bring you a whole week of lectures, testimonials, discussions, group work, hands-on activities and games, whose sole objective will be to provide you a handful of tools to communicate your RNA Therapy-related Science to different audiences.

So, if you want to increase your communication skills and do it in a positive and engaging environment, please leave room in your agendas for this upcoming event. It will take place online, from April 4th to April 8th 2022 (9:30 to 16:30 – GMT+1).

Go check our events section, if you want to register, and stay tuned for more updates.
